What to Celebrate this Week: National Card & Letter Writing Month!

by Stefanie on April 27, 2010

When: April 1st – May 9th
What: An annual effort to promote literacy and celebrate the art of letter writing.

Remember how good it feels when you get a letter in the mail?
A real letter, in your real mailbox, from a real person? There it is nestled among your usual bills and catalogs; a colored envelope, with a cool stamp, hand addressed to you.

Once you lay eyes on that card there’s no denying someone cares about you. You know you’re special. You’re worth time and energy and a stamp!

Well this is your chance to make someone else feel that way! April 1st through Mother’s Day is National Card and Letter Writing Month so you’ve still got plenty of time to celebrate.

Not sure what to say? Choose from hundreds of cards at PartyLand, from sentimental love proclamations to  laugh out loud ridiculousness. Sending a simple “Thinking about you” card will brighten anyone’s day! Add in a few pictures of your new little one, your dog’s birthday party, or your new home!

Sure it’s easier to send an email. But it means so much more when you can hold it in your hand and put it on your refrigerator.

Ok, maybe I’m too late for Cinco de Mayo–but who cares? I NEEEED those Chili Pepper necklaces! What a crack up. Yeah…so cool. I’ll be in.
