Candy Party!

What’s the sweetest way to celebrate your next event? Well sweetie, bust out everyone’s favorite childhood treats and you’ve got yourself a party! Indulging in decadent and colorful candy will boost everyone’s mood and there’s no way for this party to be a dud – unless you’re thinking Milk Dud!

Rather than your traditional birthday cake, set up a colorful candy and cupcake buffet. Gather your favorites and display them in glass bowls and jars. Anything goes, it’s time to get creative – check out our Peach Rings on a stick!

PartyLand has the greatest selection of bulk candy. Gummy Bears, Gummy Rings, M&M’s, Jelly Bellys, Sixlets, Gumballs and more all sold by the color! If we don’t have exactly what you’re looking for we’ll order it for you through Oriental Trading – make sure to order it through us so you can get a special deal!

You’ve got to provide a little bit of everything so no sweet tooth is left unsatisfied; chocolate, fruity, gummy, sour, minty, chewy, crunchy, salty, fizzy, poppy…

Some necessities:
Wax Mustaches and Lips! Your guests will have a ball posing for pictures with these.
Candy Necklaces, Rings and Watches! Guests will become a part of the party when they decorate themselves with these nostalgic candies.
Candy Sticks and Lollipops! The beautiful swirling colors on these candies will make your party decor pop. They are so inexpensive you can put them all over and send some home with your friends.

For other decor besides candy pick a colorful theme and go crazy. Think dots and stripes and balloons in bright colors.

Tell guests to wear bright candy colors and if they don’t, have some fun bows to pin on them to make sure everyone is festive!

Sugar Coat your Party Playlist:
“The Tootsee Roll” by 69 Boyz, “Laffy Taffy” by D4L, “Lollipop” by The Chordettes, “I Want Candy” by Bow Wow Wow, “Chewing Gum” by Annie, “Candy’s Room” by Bruce Springsteen, “Candy” by Cameo, “Candy-O” by The Cars, “The Candyman” by Sammy Davis Jr., “My BOy Lollipop” by Millie Small, “Candy Girl” by New Edition, “Lollipop (Candyman)” by Aqua, “Sugar, Sugar” by The Archies, “Sweet Fantasy” by Mariah Carey, “Sugar Rush” by Dream Street, “Pour Some Sugar on Me” by Def Leppard, “My Lips Like Sugar” by Flo Rida, the entire Willy Wonka soundtrack! (I’m having too much fun so I’m going to stop and let you explore some more on your own!)
Sugar, Sugar

Feel like you need an activity other than sugar intake at the party?

  • Set out board games like Candy Land for the guests to play (even if they are older…they’ll still have fun)!
  • Fill jars with gumballs/jelly beans/ M&Ms and have them guess the amount for a prize.
  • Play charades having all the cards be names of candy bars and candy types or Willy Wonka references.

Have a dandy candy time and
